Week 5

29. I took this shot at college because I thought the other CHT students would recognise it. I thought it would send the message of familiar surroundings. I used the Lark filter because it made the blue and purple tones pop. I used #graffiti to attract attention from graffiti artists and admirers.

30. I captured this image on my journey home. I wanted to send a message of calm at the end of a busy day. I liked the image the way it is, so I did not use a filter. I chose the #sunset to send a warm message to people.

#canon #Lincoln
31. I took this image of a friend after college at Lincoln train station. I like the shot because we were taking pictures of each other at the same time. I chose this location because it had lots of geometric shapes and I also used frame within a frame composition. I liked the colours and mood in this shot, so I did not use a filter. I used #canon because my friend was using a canon camera and would attract interest from canon photographers, and I used #Lincoln as a location tag.

32. This image was taken at an abandoned house that belongs to some friends of my parents. I took the image because it had recently been in the press about being haunted and I wanted to communicate my visit. I decided not to use a filter as I wanted to capture a realistic shot and I think it looks spooky enough without one. I used #urbanex to attract interest from the urban ex photographers. I think I should have included some photography hashtags to attract more interest.

33. I took this photo because I wanted to capture the colours in the sunset. I shot the image from the railway bridge in Lincoln. I wanted to communicate an end of the day mood. I did not want to use a filter because I wanted the moment to be pure. I used the #lincoln to draw the people from Lincoln to this post.

34. This image was taken in Lincoln at the waterside on my way to the bus station. I took this image because I took this image because I wanted to capture the colours of the sunset. I did not use a filter because I wanted to capture the moment. I used the #sunset and #lincoln because I wanted to attract people who searched for pictures with these # to see them.

35. I created this image because I wanted to create an artistic shot with an everyday object. I thought this would attract a wide audience because a 5p coin is familiar to everyone. I used the lark filter for this because I thought it made the coin stand out more it added brightness to the picture. I have used #lincoln because it is a location tag. I also added #5pcoin to the image so when people search for a 5p coin my image will come up. I think this communicates my message well.
