Week 3

#2020 #hny #lcinstafamous

15. This image was taken on New Year’s Day and I was trying to communicate a celebration message. The image has 4 glasses in the centre of the frame with a silver ice bucket and bottle in the background. I chose not to use a filter because I was happy with the sparkly effect and the filters did not add anything extra to the mood. I was happy with the hashtags and think they communicate the message well.

#lcinstafamous #myhouse

16. I took this shot to communicate happy memories. It is an image of my home and the bright security light is at the centre at the top. The car is at the bottom left of the image. There is negative space at the top of the photo mostly to the right corner. I did not use a filter, but I used a vignette effect. I think the # communicates my location well.

#lcinstafamous #hullcity

17. This image was taken on the way to Hull. The bridge fillsa the lower half of the frame and the blue sky creates negative space at the top of the frame forcing the viewers eye to focus on the bridge. I did not use a filter with this image. I chose the hashtag hullcity to document my trip and think it is effective.

#lcinstafamous #modelrailway #nostalgia #childhoodmemories

18. I took this image in my Pop’s loft because I used to spend a lot of time helping him with his model railway when I was small. I took this image because I wanted to send a message of nostalgia and fond memories. I chose not to use a filter because I wanted the image to be true to life. I think my hashtags for this image are effective and communicate my feelings well.

#logchopping #lcinstafamous

19.This image was taken in our log shed. I took this shot to record re-filling the log buckets for the fire. The axe is in the centre of the image and the background is stacks of logs which are blurred. I captured this shot because this is what I was doing at that moment in time.  I think these # clearly state what I was doing.

#lcinstafamous #huntingdogs

20. I decided to take this shot of my retriever puppy because he had been in trouble again for chasing a hare while out on a walk. The dog and bed fill the frame and I took the shot from a bird’s eye view angle to show how he was laid. The # is effective because our retriever is a gun dog an hunting is his natural instinct.

#lcinstafamous #holga120n
21.
I took this shot of my holga120n because i thought it was cool and I was going to go and take some pictures of my own and experiment with the different films.
