Instagram Posts 35 day challenge

Week 4

#lcinstafamousn #lincoln

22. I took this shot while I was on a shoot at college. It is a view from uphill Lincoln across a roof top with the city in the background. I didn’t use a filter for this image. I used the #lincoln to attract people from Lincoln to look at the post and to communicate my location.
#lcinstafamous #logburner

23. I captured this photo while I was watching logs burning on the fire. I wanted to send a warm vibe. I chose the Ludwig filter because it made the flames stand out more. I used the #logfire to communicate my message of warm and cosy.
#lcinstafamous #urbanex

24. I took this shot while I was exploring an abandoned building. The image uses frame within a frame composition by using the doorframes to frame the subject. I didn’t use a filter because I wanted the shot to be a true record of the moment. I chose the #urbanex to send a message to all the urban explorers who use Instagram to share their work.
#lcinstafamous #lincoln

25. I captured this image while my bus was pulling out of Lincoln bus station. I decided to take this shot because I liked the way the lights and reflections were creating an artsy image. I didn’t use a filter and I used the #lincoln to tag my location and to attract local people’s.
#lcinstafamous #myhouse

26. I took this shot from my driveway. The image is of my house and front garden and the house is framed by 2 trees leading the viewers eye to the house. I wanted to communicate my location. I used the xxxxxfilter and I chose #myhouse to send my message.
#lcinstafamous #countryside

27. I captured this photo while on a local walk in Stow. I took the image because I drive past this haystack every day. I didn’t use a filter because I didn’t want to spoil the effect of the sunrays on my image. I chose the #countryside to send a rural message.
#lcinstafamous #lincoln #streetphotography

28 I captured this photo whilst on a square format shoot. I used the Lark filter for this image. which made the green light and ivy stand out. I used the #Lincoln to attract local interest and #streetphotography to communicate with photographers who appreciate this style of photography.

My name is Callum and I have an interest in art design graphics and photography. I studied GCSE fine art and graphics and am currently studying for a Level 2 photography diploma at Lincoln College of Art and Design.
I particularly like street photography and urban photography. My current project involves a study of lomography and the use of square format photography along with ways of communicating my photography to the public. You can follow me on Instagram if you're interested in what I post @_rose.lens_
